a Global Machine Company 2300 Watt generator. I bought this around 2011 as an emergency power source. We bought this because, living in a rural location, and suffering many power outages over the winter with young children, caused a real problem. However shortly after buying this generator, the electric company replaced all the overhead lines. This has stopped all subsequent power failures, so this generator is now redundant. It's still as new, never run and is in its original box.#
It's empty of oil and fuel. It's only been out of the box to check it's contents.#
At the time I bought the highest spec I could get for the budget I had. So this generator has a key opperated electric starter in addition to the more normal pull start. It has a large fuel tank so should give around 12 hours out of a single fill.#
Here's a run down of its features.#

I would prefer collection as it's heavy and too fragile to courier.#

I'll try to answer any questions.#
Thanks

I'd keep it. All our lines have been replaced and put underground, but recently when a vehicle took out a high tension line we were without power for over 12 hours, would have lost all our freezer contents

i'd go with honda next time, esp if you may really need it.

these type of brands are usually junk

Looks expensive compared to lidl offer 2800watt peak £169 and three year warranty

Ill take gmc over lidl.

Having watched my mates lidl piece of crap genny litterally shake its self to bits , in the middle of winter leaving him with a cold camper.

Lidl genny is a noisy piece of crap.

My clarke suitcase was keeping our camper warm and it was quiet.

76db doesnt seem that noisy for this gmc either. The lidl ones more like 90. On par with my grinder.

Little bump. I forgot I had this tucked at the back of the workshop. Anyone interested in having it £175?
Oh and it is better than the types available from the likes of lidl.
