yep,

Ive been through just about all the brands, including some when I was on oz and the us just found PG to be the best for penetrating and loosening stuck bolts etc, a lot of other brands claim to do loads of things, maybe thats why PG is good cos its just designed for one job i spose!

PS eurocarparts, trade is cheapest i have found about £3/4 a spray can

After off road course, good laugh, sailed through everything even convinced the missus to do all the red sections :D if it was muddy might've been a different story ;)

They loved the forward controls, interesting chap there with a 101 camper. Fabricated his own drop in box and recycled the innards of a caravan. Didn't get pics phone had died.

Defender only parking, semi secure with patrols and a password to exit, good idea!

Camel trophy club, it's our tradition to get a pic with these legends every show :D

2 happy chappys and mom and dad had a good day too :)

u still there? looks like a great day, i have been playing brake lines, would have liked to have gone!

Yeah I've seen your thread, busy man today!

No we left about 4pm.

It was good but not big enough really, not enough trade stands compared to when it was just billing land rover show. Mini monster trucks and soft play for kids, bouncy castle etc. Off road course was quite good but billing 4x4 show is better all round of the 2 now i suspect. We'll do billing instead next year. Still had great day though, got new front shocks for a tenner too

Gotta get your money's worth!

Yeah I wouldn't camp but decent for 1 day

we have the 'darling buds' classic car show, (its on the farm from the TV show)same a good one day'r and a right old mixture of trucks, bikes, tractors, combines, american trucks etc all pre 1970 etc
great fun, I used to exhibit the Triumphs get there early, two bricks and a disposable BBQ for bacon n sausage sammys n get drunk and sunburnt then look through my fingers all the way home with the Mrs driving while she moans all the way cos she hates driving the old cars!

Doing a bit of prep for front shocks tomorrow, took the intercooler to turbo hose off to get caps off to access top nut on turret and there's obviously oil in the hose.

Was just wondering how much oil is acceptable? Think it was similar amount on my disco iirc

Decided to do 1 side tonight. Turning into one of those jobs!

**** off rain

Popped to mateys for these, no drama

Then 3 of the 4 studs on the turret ring snapped  I was ded careful anorl , plusgas and wire brush the threads first, softly softly, catchee monkey. **** you land rover and your chocolate fixings :D

Trip to john craddocks tomorrow then for 2 new rings and probably a spring compressor. Unless I just drop 1 end of the axle but I'm not 100% keen on that o_O

Ahh see ive done a few turrets now my method is to apply as much force as possible to ensure they snap off. Easier to remove and I always replace with HD units which are only a couple ££ more than standard.

Spring clamps are are useful just be careful ive had one snap before damn shocking.

Looking good though! Shame we didnt bump into each other over the weekend, probably as I spent much of it sleeping... lol
