if pump isnt running swap the relay with one of the other in the engine bay fuse boxTried getting resistance reading on glow plugs. Couldn't get middle 2 leads off without potentially breaking something so tested no.1 and 4
Tell me if I did this wrong
Set multimeter to ohms and cross probes to get drop.
Jump cable from battery neg for ease of reach
Neg probe on multimeter to battery neg. Pos probe on glow plug. Set to lowest ohms on multimeter.
I get 180+ but it blinks on and off randomly. Doesn't show up constant reading. So only got spurious readings off 2 out of 4 plugs.
If they are both 180+ they're fooked ain't they? Am I right in thinking glow plugs should be about 1?

Wheres yer weekly update buddy?
So wos new schmoo?
just checked out the pictures on the first page, it looks good mate
what mileage is it?
Cheers, it's on 126k had a decent respray though but more importantly is just as good underneath
Great News!!Fack all old pal lol cleaned the oily blue block and routed the obd port into the right place under passenger seat. Seems to have cured it....
New battery in multimeter and extra long nose pliers to get all 4 plug leads off couldn't get a reading on any ohms setting. So either all 4 are ****ed, all 4 are fine or I'm doing it wrong which is most likely friendly garage nearby is gonna check glow plugs for me Saturday morning.
Other than that it's tickety boo touch wood
Great News!!
