Odd one that... couldn't start it when I last saw it, fuel gauge showing about 1/4 tank. We put a fivers worth of motion lotion in it and the gauge showed something like 3/4s full and it ran for a bit with no problems.

Can't remember the eggsackt details - think it stopped again a bit after that, so it's either using a HUGE amount of fuel in not a lot of time, or it's got some other problem (fuel gauge misreading aside).
 
Marcus had a go on Sat morning - sounds like its firing on one cylinder and pushing HUGE amounts of black smoke out the exhaust. I think the Carburettor floats are out tho - summat to look at when i get back. Maybe change the carb fur the one off the 2.5 engine in my garage. All the ignition electrics changed except for the coil.
 
I thought it sounded electrical, but as Daft says, all the lekky bits have been changed so next port of call is the carb............timing cun't have moved?

Oh, meant to say. 52mm socket you can have is ok fer doing rears (if you git wot I mean), but no good fer frunts cuz you have to whip out the half shaft t'git it on. I'll be ordering some stuff from Paddocks so I'll git a cheap box spanner at the same time so there'll be one of those aboot too.
