Saw this in a scrappy I frequent, never seen any other defenders there before and its a shame this is in such a state. Just wondered if anyone happened to recognise it. It's in SCB scrappy at newbridge industrial estate near Edinburgh.

Chassis is still solid if anyone's interested :p

more than likely stolen, took for a spin and torched when bored.

make an interesting project though, if I hadn't got enough projects already. I'd be tempted to put an rrc nose on it :)

There really is very little salvageable on it to be honest. Perhaps the very end of the tub and the chassis but that's it.

Can I get the doors open though? Can I hell! God knows how thieves knick them so easily

Is that a puma? No vents. And whats the red car on th left in the first pic. Random questions finnished.

Haven't looked closely enough to see how old it is but it does look kinda new.

I think the red car is an old lotus elise, same with the black one on top.

Well as I said the chassis is solid so its not too old. No waxoyl either, I had a good smack all around it with a sharp rock and apart from some slight surface rusting its in excellent condition. Not sure how you could go about getting it back on the road after the main part of the vehicle was fire damaged but if I had the space and the money I'd buy it.

Infact just looked there, definitely seems to be a puma one or newer. Unless they've replaced the bulkhead with a new style one but highly unlikely looking at the condition the tubs in

looks like a puma due to the round reversing and fog lights and the defender sticker on the rear of the tub
