@bankz5152, i'd be interested to know how the boost pressure on the nanocom compares to your analogue gauge?!?

I only gave mine a quick test but it seems to differ from the gauge, but the one reading I could not understand was when I checked the peak readings and found top speed during my test run 115mph ??
I need to read up and check this out, I think you can store the data as a csv file if so then you should be able to graph it in excell, will try to explore this.
Is there anyone who has been using Nanocom a while and can offer advice?

I put the speed down to it being in kilometres per hour, not MPH ?!? There may even be somewhere to change the units, not looked.

Yes its in KPH, that's with rushing to get it working, I am looking at getting graphs from it now, saved a file but need to get it graphed.
Anyone know what the speed error is about?
 
Anyone else get the screen mount? If so, what size are the screws that are on the saide of the Nanocom that secure it to the mount? I've tried all of my metric and imperial allen keys to no avail. As well as my torx drives. Ta.

There should be no need to unscrew anything for the mount to work. From what I understand, the mount is quite tight but you can prise it over the end and there are recesses for the screw heads to sit in?!?

Be careful not to push the screen or it might crack.

Just a heads up for importing saved CSV data into excel

Open excel > Data tab > From Text > Select file on SD card > Delimited > Next > Semicolon > Finish > OK

Ambient pressure 98.80
Airflow 56.5 (gr/hr)
Inlet 33.9
Fuel 73.6
Manifold turbo pressure (kpa) 99.54

Out for about 25mins, i assume its im °C?

Boost measured at 1.2 bar so 17.4psi. My gauge reads just over 18psi so i'd put that down to it being a cheap gauge (£30)

Did learn that my volt meter is near enough perfect, off by 0.1v according to the Nanocom

On the screen mount im not overly impressed. Its not very tight, it rattles and wasnt exactly cheap! Plus the actual suction pad is £3 off Amazon...

There is a chap that seems to be on there permanently who is very attentive :) Adrian I think. It's handy to have access. As everything, it is a manual process to check/gain access so I guess whenever that person is free...

But looking at my manifold pressure it peaks at 206.8 kpa seems a bit high to me unless it is absolute pressure
air flow peaks at 392.1 which I think may be low

Got an SD card now so will do a graph up tomorrow after a drive.

May help if we add if Disco or Fender as well as mods to get a more accurate comparison. As I can't imagine the readings on a tuned TD5 will be the same as a standard one.

Take my tip and do a short run or the data gets too dense and the graphs are cramped, better a three minute push up a hill.
Of course the manifold reading is absolute pressure, it reads about 98.1 when the engine is not running, so its necessary to subtract that from the reading to get gauge pressure.

Changing the CSV into an excel data sheet is a trick but follow huffhuff's advice and it gives you allsorts of stuff to play with.
If its needed I could try and make a short guide with some screen shots.

How did you work your boost out? I can't make those figures work
