not great focus on that pic, hard to see... but yea I reground my valves, trick is not to much pressure and keep pulling the valve out evey few turns to get the paste in the area needed

cant see the valve .and if you lay gasket on head does nick cross fire ring cos if it doesnt it doesnt matter

yeah thats what I have been doing, it just wont get the last bit out on that one seat.

its bloody hard to get a pic of shiny stuff with or without flash lol

the fine paste seems good but the course has such big grit in it not sure it can really be effective. I shall give it a bit more next week- are any marks acceptable on seats?

i shall be an expert in abo fire starting by the end of this :p

only a thin strip around seat is used to seal ,valve and seat have a degree difference to ensure this ie seat 30 degrees valve 31 degrees,

Whats the ring gap supposed to be again? also does it apply to all the rings inc my one piece oil control rings?

couldn't see in the manual where it said you have to check and adjust them, is it common practice or just anal best practice ?

Cheers

whats that in mm? you didnt do many of yours did ya mark? on the ons you did do did you do all three rings on that piston?

All the rings are the same size so test one in the bore if its to tight adjust all 3 for that bore. Ill try look for the exact measurement
