My mates got a 3door disco 1 and used to have a 5 door disco 1

Both had exact same mods with the exact same tyres

The 5 door seemed to be much better than the 3 door off road.....

Is there any difference between them apart from the number of doors obviously lol

I'm not sure but someone told me the 3 door has a shorter wheel base. I'm not sure if that true or would have any bearing.

All disco 1's are 100" regardless of number of doors. They are identicle apart from number of doors. Purely depends on wether u have people in and out of the back a lot when choosing which ones for u.

Surely a 5 door is better because you can get easier access to weld the floor and arches at the back of the landy.

Just standard Goodyear-Eagle GT+4 all season tyres, the same make as fitted to the D1 at the LR factory back in 1997.

Exactly the same as my old 3 door 3.9

Current one has barely seen the upper side of 10kph so far
