Morning Gentlemen, ive recently acquired a 97. 300tdi, alls well until it gets hot, it goes sluggish and slow, drops to 40mph, sometimes it seems to clear itself and powers up again, other times it doesn't, turn it off and let it cool down and its good till it gets hot again.
so far ive
Cleaned sedimentor bowl out, was full of crap
Drawn fuel through without fuel filter on, clean diesel came through
New fuel filter
New pipes from injector to injector as they were leaking bad
Checked all pipes, no visable splits or holes
Head gasket is fine, no oil in water and no water in oil
Turbo is spinning like a good un
Im obviously missing something here, any of you fine chaps got any ideas or pointers ?

This is the first diesel ive had as usually have V8s, so im not totally sure what im looking for

EGR valve ?

Loads of info on here about blanking or removing it.
