@Kwakerman you got me mildly interested in thread stats before, so I looked up my old rebuild thread. I couldn't find how many views it had, but I could see that it had just over seven hundred and something replies. That was in 2+ years. This one has had more replies in 2+ months. o_O That's got to mean something......................................;)
Yeah....it means you won't stop asking bloody questions...:D:D:D:D:D:D

(Only joking Al ;) )

How on earth did you find that? :)
When I searched for it I just got this view.
Another 90 Rebuild.jpg

You can just make out, on the bottom line, 756 replies. But, no views stat.

0.014% reply rate, wow that thread was absolute trash
On the positive side, I mustn't have asked many questions, proving I must have known exactly what I was doing  :D

Apologies, cock up on the calculations , should be 1.4% as I forgot to do the x100 bit! Plonker!

You still didn't say how you found it in that format to show the views :)

Slightly protracted method, went to your thread and looked at the last message date (12 Sep 16 IIRC), then went to page 2 on the forum to get this header up
upload_2017-5-17_19-26-25.png

then changed the page number to 50 and hit enter, that brought up a page so looked at the dates on that page and worked out whether I needed to go further back (page 100) of more recent (less). A bit of trial and error and I came to page 72 IIRC which was that date period and there was your thread sitting there along with the stats..................simples

The thread ended a while ago, Sakara. This means it rapidly drops back in the page numbers and it becomes a needle in a haystack to find in the actual Forum.

Just for future ref, I've also never managed to get the spigot bush out with grease, but bread packed in there seems to work pretty well...

How long do we have to sit here waiting holding our breath ?????
Is it RUNNING YET ??
Sorry, gents. It's pishing it down here and I refuse to go out in it. Nobody more frustrated than me.
Another frustrating thing is I ordered I beam torque wrench to set tensioner pulley when doing the timing. Ordered Wednesday evening via Amazon Prime. Said delivery Friday, perfect I thought. It didn't arrive so I thought it would come this morning. Nowt! Checked on Website and it now says Tuesday:mad: Been in touch with Amazon and the bloody thing is coming from Germany o_O The operative, who was not helpful, reckons they mustn't have had one and the nearest the could get one from was Germany. She said I could order another one today and it would arrive tomorrow! o_O I don't believe her
It would have been great to try and get it started this weekend, but the emerging plan is; Take head off from temp torque down on the three hole gasket, make sure all is clean with head and cylinders, torque head down fully on to no hole gasket, fit heater plugs, injectors, fit inlet manifold, turbo, connect up air box & pipes, alternator etc. This will be tomorrow as it's forecast to continue raining here until 6pm.
Looking like next weekend to do timing belt, tappets, stick rad on, fill up with oil and water and give her a go. Having cranked it over with stop solenoid disconnected until oil light goes out! (I keep reminding myself of this so I don't forget at the time)
I don't know if there is another tried and tested method for getting the correct tension on the timing pulley, but if not I'm happy to wait and get it right with a torque wrench when it arrives.

And Breath;) ! :( thought we were guna have a VID to watch of it running :(
Right better get mi chores done ! Not sittin here all day for a none event !:rolleyes::p;);)
