I put the flash little one from Muddy Mods or something like that on mine.I've never changed an exhaust in any Freelander and they were all as old as yours. They must have been well made.
Only if it breaks and causes an accident where someone is seriously injured or killed. Many years ago I remember having tow bars fitted at some guys house. He had a cottage industry making and fitting tow bars at the weekend and I can't imagine type approval was an option.yes I'm aware that actually towing something with this on a public road is probably illegal as it's not type approved

I have a similar unit on my tractor and have carefully pulled, no snatch, in excess of 3 tonnes. I wouldn’t do that regularly or trust it’s fatigue life but for usual use, I reckon it’s fine on a hippo.yes I'm aware that actually towing something with this on a public road is probably illegal as it's not type approved
