where exactly does it move on the pinion shaft and coupling? the coupling unit does the, erm, coupling.
Whats that collapsable washer thingy pre-load on the pinion
could the front half of the X-T diff replace the VCU altogether? it is a sealed unit - so you would have to replace the o/p shaft/pinion and re-seal the case
I thought MHM said the leckky bit was all sensors, can it be overcome with an analogue input? it is current controlled, but yes it could be done.
These are the million dollar Q's
I thought LR solved the problem with the VCU/IRD when they changed the ratio of the IRD post 2001. I presume from this thread this is not the case ?
