I quickly ruled out a roof tent. I want something I can stand up in, not fall out of. And they don't come with a stair lift

Ive had almost every set up, roof tents awnings every extra I could find, expedition trailers all sold but I will set up another rig at some point. Tent wise id probably go for a canvas bell tent. One centre pole & the a frame poles some come...

My vote would be either oil on the clutch disk, or a soft/broken engine mount on the front left.

I think a stand alone tent is a better idea too. What if you want to go somewhere and need the car, you'd need tp pack everything up first ... Those Canabon tents look good ....

I've finished looking into Landy-attached awnings and decided not to follow it up. Now looking for a suitable frame tent, 4-man type. I have my eye on a certain type made by Cabanon. Had one in the 90's when we took the sprogs camping and know...

Not gonna watch it. It grated on me too much "at the time".

Thanks for the info guys. Now that I have looked into this a bit more, I have put this on the back burner. A normal frame tent will better suit my needs, looking at Cabanon brand which I have had previously (shouldn't have given it to my brother...

Two other thoughts. Did you change the release bearing when changing the clutch? And what condition are your engine and gearbox mountings in?

If the bags have leaks in both of them it may not be able to lift itself. Clearing the errors won't help if the leak is greater than the air flow from the system. Deal with the rear airbags first and go from there👍

thanks @Nodge68 Any clue if it's something someone with the correct diagnostic equipment would be able to find out? It looks like there are some fault codes relating to "sounders" but I wonder if they're more to do with the alarm system.

Yeah well I was wondering if I’d messed up on orientation but I can’t see another way of attaching- a bigger belt would solve it but doesn’t answer the why!

You are most certainly right. I suppose I was thinking of peeps in my car club who used to skim bits of their flywheels to lighten them to get better performance, and stuff. Bit of a "doh" moment there!! TBH skimming it a few thou won't make...

I'm thinking now it might be a good idea to go back to original style master and slave cylinders. Pain in the rear though it would be. Or else just live with it? My wife's Citroen C3 Pluriel does this in first and it is a Sensodrive system. I...

Yes, the anti roll bar is designed to stop the axle articulating, which is what you need it to do to get the springs out. If they are longer than std (+2" for example) you may need to push the axle down to get the springs unseated. It's best too...

If he has had it skimmed then the pressure from the pressure plate would be slightly reduced. Don't know if that would be enough to cause this though.
