    Also the flashing D in gear is to do with the autobox xyz switch. Also your battery is low, can you fully charge it or try a different one to rule it out?

    Don't buy an aftermarket amplifier. An OE unit will last a long time. You can buy a cable extension kit to remotely mount it on the inner wing to get it away from the engine heat. I think Discos had these remotely mounted from the factory.

    As you said it just suddenly cut out, I think it’s more of a loss of fuel, loss of injector function, failed communication to engine ecu or crank position sensor has failed.
