I doubt that we'd still be on here if we had thin skins.
I can vouch for many on here that they really don't!
My logic is pretty sound and you still haven't logically answered my last point!
This thread may now be moved to AG as it has gone more...
A lot of the 'go-to' stuff has been done by the OP already, including PCV and MAP, but we'll get some checks and read-outs and report findings.
The intake manifold and EGR has been cleaned also - @Arctic2 do you still have any cleaned + gutted...
Some remain on here an amazingly long time, I could think of a few, but then maybe they just like an argument that they are never going to win, just for the sake of it!
if you guys didn't have such thin skins you wouldn't have thrown out so many insults that I have been laughing at. And because I have been laughing at them I don't have a thin skin. Maybe logic is not your strong point.
Sounds like the ECU is forgetting what height you last set it to. With the height lock switch on, it should remain at the last height after switch off & when switching on & starting.
Does it have the standard timer relay or the 4-pin fudge to...
FYI iCarSoft said "From our experience, it is not possible to do suspension changes with any iCarsoft device on your vehicle."
From what they have previously told me 2006 is the year where it changes, when the L322 used mostly Jaguar parts not...
Those Wildtracks are pretty good. One at work was twin - turbo with 10 speed automatic and I think it had low range too. Pretty sure it was usually 2H but also had 4H and then 4L on a knob near the gear selector. Towed with it a few times and it...
So is his actual question about getting them, or fitting them, or running with them?
Even he doesn't seem to know!!!!
I think he is up with a few others though on the "Do I have the thinnest skin on LZ?" question!!!
Well that'll teach me to post to you as I have done.
Those who know me well on here will admit that I often make mistakes and usually admit to them.
It could still be a crazy idea, fitting them may not be, but using them might be.
So you...
Hi all,
I am going to service my Defender in the next few weeks and wanted to know if there was any recommendation on service kits? There seems to be lots of options, but I have no experience on best brands of oil etc...
Cheers,
Dean
That's exactly what we did, but it is still 4 flights, if I was a pedant!!!
So yes, like last year where she had to fly back for just a 20 minute chat, it is happening while we are here.
You don't mess with the NHS!
Thanks for the good wishes...
Sympathise re the coving.
I once bought the plaster stuff as I wanted to paint over it in gloss paint.
The room had a bay window with 3 panes so lots of awkward angles to cut.
By the end I had inches to spare and had to make the last piece up...
My question was if it was a crazy idea or not. Given that he gave me factual information regarding part numbers and the subframe that means taking the next step is not a crazy idea. That answers my question. Maybe you people just can't read...
No you didn't he hasn't actually fitted it so he didn't answer your question.
As I've been pretty friendly and non-dismissive towards you so far in this thread, albeit tinged with a little gentle humour, I think your answer it a little "orff"...
Just to add to this, you don't actually need a Defender throttle pedal. Although this is what I have on my current setup. On my past Tdi Series I used the stock Series pedal and attached a stock Tdi throttle cable to the rod mechanism by the...
Time we opened a book on this.
My odds on anyone on LZ knowing the answer to this exact question.....
1000 to 1.
I reckon 157,213 to 1 assuming only one member knows the answer, and the OP will know one day.
Or should that be 157,214 to 2 ❓
Thank you for actually making an effort and giving me actual information.
This would have been put to bed if people had just said that they did not know and did not spend the last day and a half throwing out condescending insults.
Remember...
OK, there is a tiny chance you may be right, but then again, can you be assed to wait?
Time we opened a book on this.
My odds on anyone on LZ knowing the answer to this exact question.....
1000 to 1.
Any takers???;););)
Ok, thanks Phill, Anaconda.
Your help is very much appreciated.
I suppose it will have to be sold as parts then.
He probably did buy it as parts originally as he wanted to build from scratch.
Either way, we just want it to go to a good home.
If...
