Thanks Steve2286w. Thank you for the welcome ! I thought that was where I had originally posted it. Obviously doing something incorrectly. Any tips how to post it in the correct place ? Am I missing something?

And I have said maybe 10 times that there is no point in me JFDI if I do not know if the diffs will fit when somebody might know the answer and can just tell me. I have no rush to do this job. I am not going for several months. I may not even...

All I can say is JFDI and report back. We all now know it’s not about fuel economy. Nuff said & I say again JFDI.

Amazon are awesome with returns so if I got a fake one I could just return it. I will wait to hear back from iCarSoft and the other people before doing anything more. It has been raised up for a year and it has not caused too many problems so I...

Somebody might know if the diffs fit or not which is why I came here. I stupidly thought that I could just ask a simple question and get an answer rather than getting attacked for asking a question. Don't worry I'll leave this place to people...

Yeah except my issue was nothing to do with fuel saving if you actually read what I said.

And obviously because I have not done it myself I have come here to ask for advice from someone who may have done it or who may have knowledge even though they have not done it. As you are not either of those people I have no idea why you came...

Thanks all - sorted it! Went to local indi Land Rover repair place and it had him stumped so he did quick search on topix. Will post a separate thread with photos on how to remove. There are catches but they were hidden in the seat base foam...

BMW did not look 23 years into to future and know everything about my current 150k miles engine when they chose the ZF5HP gearbox and diff ratios for the L322. Haaaaaaaaaaa. This is laughable. They upgraded to a ZF6 then a ZF8. If the ZF5 was...

£200 and a few hours to change the diffs versus how much money and time for an LPG kit when I said that my MAIN concern is the engine RPM and not about saving money? Higher revs needed, just put the transfer box into low range. I have 20 inch...

Personally I would like to have LPG easily available as one of my P38's came with it installed. There's far few places these day where it's available, plus whoever originally installed mine either never got the certification or it got lost...

BTW - the Tdi will run fine without an intercooler, so long as you aren't juicing up the Tdi. But it would be better with one. Lots of options for an intercooler, although factory Tdi ones would likely be the most challenging to fit. Throttle...

This is getting fun. Maybe the op will give up & try elsewhere, or actually do it & present the results ???? Maybe the diffs will fit or not . . . .who knows ? Will the engine last longer . . . .who knows ? Will many of us buy an L322 that...

Completely pointless running with no turbo, you might as well just have a normal 2.25 petrol or diesel in there. The entire point of fitting a more modern turbo powered engine is for the fat turbo torque curve and extra power. --- all IMO of...

Daughter has a Disco 4. One of the several problems on the vehicle is that the rear offside door won’t open using the handle from the outside. Furthermore, the central locking doesn’t lock this door. Is this a known problem? I’m assuming the two...

It can’t roll that much. When out of sync Nanocom or testbook puts GEMS into learning mode. It then learns next code from BECM. If it rolls it can only go from 1 to 65534. FFFF or 65535 tells GEMS to go into ignore mode. Either the F-out...
