That will never work well unless you are very skilled with electronics and work on the PCB to insert the clutch switch's input circuit which is missing in the auto EU also you have to remap it for manual, simply changing settings with nanocom is...

That’s absolutely spot on - exactly what I needed! Brilliant help, thanks! I looks like my window seals were replaced at some point and the channel fitted back on incorrectly….😊.

I could hear the EPB operating so yes, it made a noise going on and off but I had to listen out for it. I am fairly sure I have a receipt for it being changed in the last couple of years.

Whats the voltage with engine off? If it's low on startup the ECU may not boot up properly.

I'm a little more considerate and use the spare tyre on the rear door as it is a little softer than the hitch :p

dag019 replied to the thread Orange connector, what is it for?.
Yellow and red is for the fog light. There will be one on each side (same as the brown and green for reverse) but only one side will be used for each if you are still original. The loom is the same for RHD and LHD, so depending on which side of...

Just a bit of a side issue.... Knowing how small and overpopulated Malta is, I a wondering what you need it for. I use mine on motorways mostly for comfort's sake, and N roads, (the equivalent of A roads) to avoid getting tickets, and...

It's L322 2002 4.4 M62B44. Looks like "EKA code", but local dealership has no records of an alarm ever installed into the car, so they have no codes...

WHY!!!!???? Simply weaken the mixture at the jet, by winding the jet up a lickle bit?? Going back to a needle that didn't work in the first place won't help, and filing anything off anywhere will simply richen the mixture at that point...

Confused. Oil filter casing was blue. Air filter, oil bath type, was black.

You can get all sorts of weed preventing materials some of which come in circles with a slot cut in to go around your plants. W uses them for the strawbs in her raised beds. They have copper woven into them...

Procedurally JLR doesn’t expect you to have a nanocom. It’s set to 1/1000mm or near as your patience eyes will allow taking into account wear on chains sprockets pump internals etc so it’s reset after any interference as a practice. It probably...

They never were, technically. My family name is Thomas, it's been in the family since new being used by my grandfather and his father as a recovery truck for their workshop in the village. So getting the sign-writing was just a throwback to them.

Yes, whipped out the thermostat before blanking. Where have you got the intercooler mounted? I've got a small one here but was just slightly too big to fit with the electric fan in place.

Stanleysteamer replied to the thread MAF sensor issue.
If it will run on MAF cleaner. or eazistart type stuff, then I don't think it can be electrics other than those that run the fuel supply/injection system and timing. But that does involve battery poswer while cranking. I say again, get it on a...

Mine is a disco timing chest, defender manifolds, Skoda fabia RS intercooler, mocol oil cooler, battery over the relay, shuffled forward. Turner head and diesel Bob high power IP. I really like it. Got some upgrades coming, though.

The lift pump on my disco 200tdi failed yesterday, but it failed in a way I have not seen before, see the video below. Usually when they fail the internal diaphragm fails and it stops pumping, not the casing failing and it just pumping fuel out...

If you haven’t had the chains off or changed anything should be okay if it was good before. I’m fairly sure the woodruff key should be roughly vertical when locked at cyl1 tdc but not 110%, others memories may be fresher, but as you say it’s all...

It's a D4 you can re latch them but you need to remove the epb module to do it. You can also repair them. The fuel gauge could be a number of things the sender units do fail. If it reads empty it usually goes into safe mode and stops the engine...

Thanks Marjon> I'm not convinced it did jam. I think it is a communication issue and I think the fact that the fuel gauge reads zero is part of the same problem. I'm happy too buy a GAP IID because I think it is worth it. I have just held off...
