Thanks for getting back to me. No, I just checked and ran a razor blade scraper around the head and the block there is nothing evident. There are marks indicating there was a head gasket in there at some point but definitely not now. I also...

Hi guys, so bit of an update. Taken the freelander on a few long drivers over the last couple weeks and was running a dream! But alas there’s always something else! I’ve started to get a judder when pulling away in first or reversing, was...

Well yes - I imagine most places use fairly generic photos for thing like brake pads, rather than taking lots of individual photos of very similar-looking boxes and items.

Thanks for this, the photo shown is a generic image as its for MDB2225 pads, (Renaults etc) however after further research I believe the correct pads are MDB2860 Ian

The e-assist is a big help without it I doubt that the cycling would be possible. But, I do my best to keep the e-assist level low enough that I am also putting effort into the system against the resistance so that my muscles get a bit of work to...

Yes, just a little. As long as I don't go crazy with the PUSH effort it seems to cope. :) Weird seeing as one day last week I could not walk up or down the stairs on the right leg. As the trike is e-assist I am not having to do all the work I...

    Lej posted the thread LT230 gaskets in Defender 90 / 110 / 130.
Good afternoon all. I have been looking online at what's best to seal a transfer box and it seems a bit grey. Some suggest using 'paper' gaskets, some suggest paper gaskets and silicone, others just say silicone... I have two different LT230s...

I have used Britpart OEM ones 9 years ago and still going strong, unlike the poly ones which lasted 1 week. You buy the standard cheap Britpart ones and they are only any good if you are selling it.

Mismatch between sender and gauge maybe. I put an additional sender in the top hose and matching additional gauge due to being to scared of the possibility of the thread in the housing getting stripped. Temp for a 200tdi is in the late 90's...
