A cooper with a bit of a slow puncture, a michelin with a lot of a slow puncture, a something else budget tyre and one cracking michelin M+S (with loads of tread) which I've kept as a spare.

That's because a couple of months ago I did the wrong thing by getting part worns to keep me legal. It was a pig to find them the right size so anyway never doing that again. Before that it was pirelli scorpion ST's on it, just with no tread.

anyone had any experience with these tyres...?i am running on grabbers at the min but want something a little more aggressive all are 265/75/16s first two are kingpin and the 3rd is recip trial(never heard of them.)prices start at £277 and go up to £349 for 4 tyres?

recip trials over kingpin every time.

how aggresive do you need, they are all mud tyres - more noise, less mpg etc...

How happy am I that I did this the other week? I wouldn't have been going anywhere on my old tyres in this weather and a big thanks to Dewin for prodding me in the direction of the general grabbers.

Only passing on my lil' bit of info;) that's your tyres sorted for at least the next few years:D (done over 20k on mine and they still have loads of tread left).

my 2 pence worth :
the insa`s are nice but i have had nightmares trying to balance them as they are essentially retreads...
general grabber at2`s (new pattern and old) are an excellent all rounder)
and of course the ever present bfg ats and mt which are both great tyres depending on how aggressive you want them... they also outlast the generals by quite a long shot!
