Yet another paint problem

Hey guys,

I know your all bored of paint code questions but I am in a bind, my boss has a 1985 land rover 90 and we r looking to replace the rear door and are trying to source the paint, easy you say well....

I phoned Taunton land rover and issued them with the chassis number and they kindly got back to me within the hour with paint code LRC 619 Bronze green how ever they can only supply in 330 ml cans which is no good I'm looking for a litre so they also told me the best place was an automotive electrical/paint supplier in Bridgwater hickleys.

So on the phone to Hickleys and they said yep that paint code ran from 1999 - 2000 hey?! So I phoned land rover back and they say the paint code 619 ran from 1971 - 1988 something seemed wrong so on the phone again to brookwells to see if they could help but they can only supply the bronze green for series land rovers in a cellulose which again is no good.

After that I spoke with a friends boss who runs a paint shop and has sent the LRC paint sheets to me to try tomorrow but just wondering anyone able to give me a heads up

From the chart link I have, agree that colour was only '99 - 00

there is a place down on the lynx tradeing estate in yeovil hwo will mix any quanity of paint you need and there dam good on colour matching for the life of me cant remember there name

Shepton mallet hey?! I work 5 minutes out of shepton I drive through there every day
