Almost embarrassing now with all my brake woes !
I got a set of new front axle brake shoes for my 88' 1976 petrol.
On each side, one of the shoes has a peg attached - for the adjuster snail cam to push against.
The new shoes I bought (from local UNIPART outlet) includes the pegs in a small bag... and they are not a tight fit. I tried using "no more nails' to get the pegs to seat and stay... but each time I attach the top spring the peg works its way out and drops out !!
Anyone know if the pegs are normally in a bag or do genuine ones have the pegs welded into place ?
Cheers
