I got a new offside hub from Paddocks end of May last year. £206 and supposedly OEM. It's f----d. Three Amigos came on today, and nasty noises from offside wheel. Whats my chances of getting a refund or replacement? Never had to go back to Paddocks with an issue before.:(

have you got the receipt? as it is not may yet, so will still be under warranty, you need to act quick on monday i would say and ring em

Yes...just dug it out. 21/05/13. First call Monday morning. I've got visions of the old "we will need to inspect the old one before we can offer a replacement" patter coming on. But who knows. As said, I have never had an issue with Paddocks in the past ,and use them loads, but have heard others having problems. Maybe jumping the gun a bit. Time will tell.

Done another search tonight and found an old post from Biggee on this subject that made me reconsider. I think apologies are in order for Paddocks. It would appear to be the nearside hub that is goosed now. I would have sworn the noise was coming from the drivers side, but on inspection (prompted from Biggee's info) it would appear not..

It may be the case that you might have to pay for another hub, then get a refund, unless as you say you can send the knacked one back first and have the Disco immobilised.

Not Paddocks, but LR Trade parts, who have a good reputation with me at any rate! I have had warranty issues on two hubs - rear one sprang a leak, letting ep90 out of the axle, a front one just making a worn out bearing noise and a bit of play. Both well within the 12 month warranty period.
It is usually a case of send the old one back to get a replacement, and I expected this. HOWEVER, seeing as the hubs were on the Disco at the time, I paid for another hub, then after fitting it, sent the old one back (I can use the courier where I work). After a couple of days I had a refund no trouble.

Incidentally, the hubs were the £60 odd quid jobs..

Hub came today. From Paddocks :)o) £170 for oem part. Fitted it tonight. I'm guessing I will need to get the three amigo's cleared?? Mate has a Snap On diagnostic tool with LR on it so hope it shouldn't be an issue. Can't remember having to do this with the offside hub though!!!

It may well clear itself once you go over about 7 mph

ABS sensor not pushed fully home? wiring damaged??

Don't think so. I was very carefull with wiring when fitting. Plug connector on inner wing was pushed fully home. Need to wait till Friday to get lights switched off. If they come back on I have a problem..:(
