Eye now wheres me flat cap gone to???;)

well, i had known old fred fer years as he was a mate of me grandads and i was at his funeral as an invited guest, anyway, these so called xennon lights that you are all babbling on about are NOT xennon lights but xennon look lights. proper xennon lights are a lot higher voltage than 12volts and need a power inverter to up the voltage, what you are actually buying are a set of look a like headlight bulbs ;)

Not telling porkies, just not the whole truth though.

A xenon gas filled bulb is no whiter than a halogen one.
What they are selling is a high output H4 bulb which is tinted blue to produce a whiter light (remember that increased output is traded for a shorter bulb life - so always get decent quality which will last better). When compared with a high output non-tinted bulb it will have less output because part of the visible spectrum is blocked.

UV protection is relevant if your light lenses are polycarbonate - for Landys with glass lenses it don't matter.

Flop old bean - me do technical appreciation training courses for car manufacturers (amongst other product launches and training). Just completed Lexy LS460 in Germanyland, now working on Citroen Picasso, Kia cee'd and Toyota Auris.

Looks promising. Major components like the injuns and tranny are tried and tested, Haldex is well reliable and proven on VW group and Ovlov XC-70/90. Had a good play with one a couple of months ago and loved the interior. Makes the competitors look very poor.

Only time will tell if it's well designed, and whether the componentry and build quality is up to the job...

It's a good bit of kit - way better than the old Hippo. But now being left behind with the arrival of new CRV and Hippo.

Wot dya reckon hat chap?
