Worn Haldex/Diff signs

Hi, what are the tell tale signs that the fl2 diff or haldex is on its way out. Mine has an intermittent vibration like driving on washboard gravel, when on straight smooth roads. Only done it three times over about a year, lasts a minute or two then clears itself.

I did say I would get back to you.... its been back on the road a week now and its amazing, all the rumble that I thought may be Haldex has gone, drive is silent and smooth. My DMF was in quite a bad state and the thrust/slave cylinder destroyed so I'm inclined to think DMF my be your issue too,, If you search for Haldex 3 on ebay you will find a company in shropshire who offer Haldex servicing, diagnostics and reconditioning. It may pay to ask them what they think..
