been thinking , yeh i know doesn't happen often , lol

wouldn't it be nice if some of us could get together to help one another on projects where doing and need a hand , combining knowledge

seeing some of the jobs on discos are really a two person job

got a driveway and can easily put a tarp down to protect it

got my chassis to do, so if someone else wished to do there's could help each other, halving the work

or am i mad in suggesting something like this

imagine there's some jobs a few of us need half a dozen hands

saving a fortune on labour costs,

years ago i helped someone do a chassis swap, then was going to help me replace the gearbox and clutch on mine , guy didn't bother coming back to help me so had to struggle and do the work myself

of course would have to make sure we keep it between us forum members so this didn't happen,

know the council get upset if u try and work on cars in the road but as i've got the drive won't have the issue

what do u think guys

thks as always for listening

We've had Landie guys and gals round to the workshop, usually for small odds and sods, but nice to be able to help out when we can.

Weather is a bit crap for outdoor stuff, but I remember doing my sunroofs in February 2010....

Gaz in all Seriousness, if you need help I don't mind getting a cheap flight to your nearest airport if you pick me up and drop me back off.
This retirement lark is brilliant.
Can't stay over mind, that would be too much like prostitution ;)

lol, would make me feel to guilty u coming that distance , but is indeed extremely kind of u :D:D

have been trying to work out how to get the headlining out on my own

its the bending of it that worries me, 9 foot long x 42 inches wide

may have to end up asking a garage to do it, however 3 x that i've already asked won't get involved with headlining

@gstuart not that its related to LZ, but the local clubs usually make use of the labour favour setup. I'm a member of the Fenlanders 4x4 club for e.g who are an awesome bunch, loads of events and often spend Saturdays helpin each other with the big jobs. LZ is obviously distant so harder to get to know your locals. The groups are everywhere but theyre not all great i guess. If I'm ever around I'm qualified to fit air fresheners ;)
