Also the Postive lead on battery seems to be getting warm and also moved on trying to start..There is a clicking noise but nothing else,All leads to starter motor were cleaner before fitting starter motor,Could it be anyting to do with the Ignition?

The click means that the starter is being switched. The hot lead means that a LOT of power is travelling down that wire. It sounds like your starter is stuck. Try rocking the vehicle forward and backward in case it's stuck in the ring gear. If that doesn't work remove the starter, check it and, if working re-fit but ensure that it's lined up and bolted tightly to the engine.
Put it in gear before you rock it otherwise it's a bit pointless.
The small wire to the solenoid on top of starter may have frayed and broken off its connector giving intermittent starts and then nothing.
