Hi, this weeks fault on my 1995 4.0 P38.
When driving steadly all's well, however when I put my foot down (not a good idea at almost £6.00 per gallon) it kicks down and revs up to 4,000 then the engine dies until I take my foot off the pedal, It then settles down and normallity resumes until I put my foot down again.
I have tried it in 2nd and 3rd as well as auto and the same thing happens when I try to go faster.
It might just be my imagination but it seam better fist thing, ie when the vehicle is cold.
Any thoughts/suggestions.
Ian
Cheers Ian
