Good evening can some one please assist me with this wistleing soun from my 3.2 Freelander .the sound only starts when the engine is at working temprature and when exellerating the sound goes away but comes back even at idle and when in park defnetly not stearing.
Thank you

Firstly congratulations on having a 3.2, a rare beast.
You don't say if you can hear when car is stationary but my best guess would be a turbo pipe, possibly a small crack expending under pressure when hot ?
If it on the move could it be wind blowing through a vent or seal ?

No turbo on a 3.2. ;)
It's a naturally aspirated engine.

I'd be checking the vacuum lines for leaks.
