Windscreen wipers permanently on!

So, we've only had our Defender 90 (2003) since Friday and noticed a couple of little niggles but today was interesting when she went from intermittent wipers to permanently on.. even in the OFF mode!! Luckily it rained all day so it was ok and they did go off when I switched the engine off.. Any ideas??

I did do a search but couldn't find anything so apologies if this has cropped up before.

Switch or intermittent relay fubar,I think relay is behind the dash.

Thanks chaps... took her into the Doc and it was the relay switch, but for some reason it wasn't where it was supposed to be and took a while to find it!
