Windscreen seal

ive just fitted a new bulkhead and put back the windscreen back on with a new seal, but I have got a small gap as pictured on the drivers side which I know is going to cause issues.

Just wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to close up this gap.

I had exactly the same issue with my bulkhead change, the gap was worse on mine.

It does seem that something dimensionally cannot be quite right, I didn't spend a long time on it at the time as I just wanted to get going at this point, but given the holes on the BH and windscreen frame are already there, then you just bolt it all back together not like there are many variables, after doing that this gap appeared. I simply fitted two pieces of the seal; I do seem to remember when I got the seal, it was double the width required with perforations down the middle, so I separated it and fitted a piece to the window and a piece to the BH. That was 10 years ago this past spring. Never had an issue and you can't tell there are two pieces.

I suspect either the hinge bolts are a smidge too high, or the top section of the bulkhead where the seal sits is not high enough.

Your gap is less than mine, but I suspect you will still be able to get two pieces of seal in.

I just went and had a look at mine, you can see at the end there are two seals but it's not obvious, one has flattened out a lot more and the other has won the fight to be the main seal it appears.

I can take photos of it as it currently stands but no photos of the situation at the time.
