winch wire prices?

So... further to my previous post, £20 was mentioned as a ball park figure for new replacement wire cable. My local (JSF) quoted £40 for 8mm and £50 for 10mm. Who knows where to get it cheaper please? I thank you.

I got mine at a show from goodwinch. It was a 9mm superwinch cable 35m long £20. Give them a call. also try Arbil and Ebay.

If you stick a rough location in yer profile people can recomend local places to you. I use Bristol rope and twine on feeder road. I think the last one I got was about £35 ish pounds for 150' of 10mm with a standard hook.

Thanx guys.
I fully extended the one i`ve got on at the mo` this p.m.
What a mess. Accident waiting to happen, and the electrics are stop/start, stop/start. So major overhaul needed. Something else for the list
