Hi
I have just fitted a Warn winch to my TD5 90. The 2 cables (positive and negative) run from the winch to a heavy duty switch and then to the positive and negative terminals of the battery. The problem is when I turn the switch on to supply power to the winch the siren of the alarm goes and will not stop unless I disconnect the battery and reconnect it again. The alarm is the standard one. The hooter does not activate as it does if the alarm was activated and I think the alarm/immobiliser does not activate it is just the siren.
Have any of you guys had this problem when fitting a winch? Any ideas would really be appreciated.
Thanks
