Will a Td5 diff fit in a 200tdi disco

Did a quick search on this but couldn't find anything.

Blew up my rear diff today and was thinking if a diff from a newer landy will fit in my 200tdi 1994 disco.

it will, you may need to change the 4 smaller studs in axle case though for 4 longer ones

Is there any diffrance in splin number or ratio.
If it's a 3 blot flange can I just swop it with my 4 bolt one

diffs are the same ratio and the same 24 spline, front flanges can be swapped, just remember 3 bolt flange has the spacer built on to it not all 4 bolt flanges have

you might not need it its just something to look out for ,length of flange
