Widetrack Sankey Trailer

Does anyone know where to get a decent priced Widetrack Sankey?

There's one on ebay now with a BIN of £450 which seems steep from what I've read online, but then I've contacted a MOD Sales site which reckon £650-£750 depending on condition and age.

The sites where people have converted them etc reckon theyve picked them up for £250ish, some a lot less.

There's plenty of narrow tracks around, but I really wanted the Widetrack for the extra space and to keep the wheels inline with the defenders.

Does anyone know where (and it'd be great if it was local to the North West) I could pick one up for cheaper than the ebay sales?

I've bought two Narrow tracks for between £200-£250 but never seen a wide track for that sort of money.

Never had a problem towing my narrow track with my defender...

I got my widetrack off flea-bay a couple of years ago for £150, the tub has seen far better days, but everything else is bang on
Have been looking on flea-bay for a new tub, and the money they are looking for for Sankeys at the moment is mentool :crazy::crazy::crazy:

My narrow track cost me £160, plenty of room in there, you could always buy one remove the tub and make up a custom one to get the added width then add spacers in for track width although a narrow will do most things

I wanted to upgrade but looked at the prices

I have both. Our widetrack was 225 if i remember correctly but it must have been 10 years ago. The tub is shot now but we can do something with that. The wide track is better as it has the tailgate too imo, but keep searching ebay something will turn up.

I'd get a narrow track, but was thinking if I'm spending out, I might as well wait for a widetrack and spend that bit more. If it turns out to be a lot more then I might reconsider.

I'm watching every sankey related auction on eBay at the mo to get an idea of the cost vs condition! Some seem to go for mental money where as others slip though...just need to pick the right one!
