As I am quite ignorant to all things P38. I was wondering why how you would sort this one out, does this sound like a simple EKA issue?

HERE

I know that they are asking a LOT of money for something that doesn't go and personally wouldn't touch it, but would have thought that someone would have picked it up. Just curious as its not moved in months.

If it was as simple as that think they may have done it. But you can always ask questions. Maybe out of sync.

If they thought it was a simple resync they'd have had a "mate" pop round and resync it. you don't run a 2nd hand car sales and not know lots of peeps in the trade who can help out when needed.

Value at a breakers, if it's good, about £700. Less the cost of recovering it. Yup it's overpriced.

The Range Rover Buyers Guide Golden Rule: Never buy a Range Rover with a fault unless you are preapred for and appreciate the costs involved in repairing it....

I hark back the that epic thread with Neo2, when he accidentally shorted his fusebox....eventually had to replace the BeCM with a remanufactured item, and various other bits as it point blank refused to start.

If it was simple (and there is information abound on here and other places on the t'internet about the P38 systems etc) it would have been done.

£990 is far to much for a non-runner....plenty around so walk on this one!
