I love my Defender because I know that if it can't do the job... Nothing else can.

I may have this posted before - still hate computers - clumsy fingers (and no, I'm not old, just poor on IT).

With you on the wave - always has my better half asking whether we know them or not, and then getting paranoid. (Which of course is my job).

It is a hoot to drive, and, as long as you accept the limitations, I find it very comfortable. Going to have to do something about the radio reception at some point. Every thing else works fine, and we even managed to track down an annoying leak, so now watertight.
 
I love it because it is so basic and functional. It always makes me smile when I drive it even when its cost me money or another bit has broken again. You wouldn't put up with it from any thing else would you.
 
The big silly smile it puts on my face. I've never had that with any other vehicle, not even my first car.
And when I forget to smile and somebody waves, that reminds me to keep smiling :D
 
Love my defender because it keeps you on your toes and is a simple drive which you have to drive. Not like modern cars that you just get in and no starts!
 
I love the fact that every1 moves out your way!
It puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it :)

This is by far the best car/truck I have owned.
 
People always ask "Why is it that everytime I see you in Pumkin you have a big smile on your face?"
Its true, my wife is jelous. She says I pay more attention to Pumkin than I do her!

I have owned over 30 vehicles, cars, trucks ,jeeps,sports cars, motrbikes and a few boats. Nothing has given me as much pleasure and pride.

I loves me Pumkin.
 
coz only in the landy can I see over hedgerows and appreciate the beauty of the countryside. Also not much fabric in it to hold in wet dog smells...
 
I love mine because.....
When life is giving you a kicking and hard time...jump in the old girl and off I go for a countryside drive and all the stress runs away and it makes you feel good again. She can cough splutter be windy, stop working cost shed loads of cash I would not part with her at all....The wife thought I was mad buying her but after a year of riding shotgun....guess what? I now get "I want one" :D:D:D so I may just have to buy a 110 in time and pass on Miss money penny to the wife!!!!

Defender Forever!!!
