We have snow down 'ere now, about an inch or so and it's coming down pretty hard........
****ing meself watching Skynews and how yet again a little bit of snow brings this country to a halt, mind you they are saying 4" plus on the deck and several jack-knifed trucks on the M25.
Hmmmm......do I bother going to work or not?:scratching_chin:


(and before anyone says, I posted the same words on the other thread as well - dunno which one is the ohfacial snow report :confused:)
 
ive just got in from havine a play
did some nice powerslides/donuts in empty carparks:D
towed a few stuck ppl...but then going up the hill near my house it was chaos. must have pushed over 15 cars up the steep hill with another chap. had to help one lady whose jag had stopped and jammed itself in park, the tow truck didnt arive till half 2...which then got stuck and had to be freed by a landy. then there was another which went back on a truck. And then to top it off, the other side of the hill a tree had fallen down across the road which i towed out of the way. gonna be chaos in the morning. Already over a foot on our wheelie bin and on the road outside! think i shall stay in bed 2moz.
oh but the lady stuck in the jag for several hours did give us a bottle of red wine each as she had just come back from france:D:D:D

Yesterday was walking the ridge walk next to Mam Tor (already forgotten its name), after an hour of snow we'd just got to Higgins Cross, will get a picture up ASAP.

Currently at work with about 2 inches of snow, al the gangs have been sent back home, office staff get to stay here with sweet FA to do all day!
 
Atleast 6"! And they shut the ****ing school yeeeehhhaaaa!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Oh yeah... Some bastard turned me landy into a fooking camper over night :p

1-2inches...we've got nearer a foot!!! boss rang me up to say dont bother trying to get to work. Will i'll bother trying...but wont end up at work. the north downs are looking like they might be fun
 
Even me boss gave up trying to cross london to get to work in Slough, so I'm not attempting to to drive with all the morons who haven't a clue how to drive in snow. Been 10 years since I have driven in stuff like this.
Schools closed so time to make snowmen in the garden with the boys!:D
 
;)there is 1 or 2 inches here in redcar, if there is a chance of anymore guys..... dont all rush to my aid and bring your landys for me to use... just one will do;)
 
Mintcherrie i'm in Darlington and only about 4" here.

Just got back from dropping the wife off at work. Calls started coming in around 7.00am to say people are stuck and can't get in. I work from home so can't use that excuse :eek:

Think i'll be putting the snowboard and dog in the car and heading up the hills later though :)
