Who does a good price on OEM clutch kits?

My remap has exposed buggered clutch plate springs - the thing slips when I floor it.

It's done 120k so it's not surprising. A quick look on Rimmer Bros shows OEM at around £250, anyone know where I might find a better price than that? I'm shopping around myself but thought I'd ask anyway

youd want dual mass as well really ,psd103470 and da5550g both are valeo about £300 for both

ii is at that mileage dual mass and clutch generally have similar life spans

a dear job not to do it! cos you wouldn't know if its ok until its back together, a mate of mine did his, thought dual mass was ok, vibrated when back together, wished he'd changed it at the same time as had to do it all again

Well I can get both the clutch and DMF from Ashcroft for £365. Would I be correct in assuming that Ashcroft are well thought of and don't sell poor quality aftermarket parts?

They don't make them so after market........... But good quality. Asked them what brand name they are. Might want to change rear main seal while you are at it, and clutch fork, pilot bushing

Price for both Valeo kits from Euro's is £372 inc VAT with DD's trade discount. Probably the same as you'd get online when you factor in postage but I can get it todayand take it back easy, so I'm going to do that.

Yeh you won't get Valeo for less than that it loos like. It better fooking do another 100k on this!!
