Hi landrover wizards wounding if any of you could help me or point me in the right direction.

Recently purchased a landrover discovery 4 2010 reg

The problem is when I accelerate I get a whining/hissing noise like air is escaping from somewhere. Iv looked for leaks ect iv smoke tested couldn't find any leaks iv also used the old soapy water spray bottle agian no leaks found. Iv read up online that the intake manifolds crack with them being plastic but iv checked it to the best of my ability and can't see any cracks ect. I know alot of people on hear will say its the inlet manifold but honestly the sound comes more deeper down in the engine.

I jacked the car up and removed the wheel trim to try and get a better view of the hoses but again no luck. For the sound it makes it should be a obvious problem to find but im left scratching my head. The best way to describe where the sound is coming from is its directly underneath the passenger side intake manifold.i have noticed that sometimes the nosie go's away sometimes but soon comes back a few minutes later. When driving the sound comes from the front passenger side wheel area.

Any ideas?

Thank you
