Which winch?

I bought a new Winchmax winch with synthetic rope for £350 and a tubular winch bumper for £180 (Winch from ebay and bumper from WS4x4)

It all depends on your planed useage. If you just want it for the odd occasion you or a fellow landy gets stuck in the brown stuff then i dont see the point in spending £2k plus on a winch setup. however if you plan on pulling your landy up near vertical rock faces or competing in trials then its worth getting a quality item.

In any event and which ever you buy, use it and maintain it properly or that one time when you need it you may find it wont work
