its a funny old world.
along comes a vehicle maker, one that had lotsa dosh for testing, then after extensive testing decied on the size of wheels and tyres it needs to be sold to the public on production runs.
the product is so good its sold all over the world, used by armies in very snowy condintions, and everyone was very happy - the end.
but then come along ****loads of enthuisiasts, who think they know more than the prototype testers for landrover did, or know more about tyres used in REAL snowy conditions,
and go out buying feckwit sized tyres and all say-
oh, mine are the best coz it says so on the box lid or summit......
its a funny old world at times..
hmm, thinking to myself, I wonder just what tyres the sweedish army use, or the norweigens, or the danish, or the russians, or, or, or , or........
but of course, they only live in there own countries, eh.....................lol
I use Insa Traction Tracks. They are great in mud, snow and sand, and ok on tarmac.
Ok if you take care. They are not as good as a road tyre, but they are not scary in the wet.how are they on wet tarmac

Really? Who'd a thought it? You'd have thought that after almost 20 years of driving I would have worked that out by now.:scratching_chin:slush and ice are a whole lot more slippery than wet roads

No **** sherlockDo you really think that a land rover is perfect out the box? I feel sorry for you.
No **** sherlock.
And to the OP unless you use snow tyres it will be based more on your drive style.
No **** sherlock
but then -
And to the OP unless you use snow tyres it will be based more on your drive style.
Oh, I do, but dont "everyone" use real snow tyres,
in the snow, of course....
No **** Indeed cocker
In fact, if someone is just that bit cleverer than Landrover,
maybe you can get a job In India telling them lot over there that landrover owners, like yourself of course, know it all, whereas, Landrover UK who has made millions of 4 wheel drive (not forgeting the short run of 2 wheel drive series models) havent got a frikin clue in making ahem, cars..
but then, as you said for all to see worldwide, standard landrovers are not a perfect vehicle...... lad
now, even I feel sorry for you,
no I dont, think your a twank ound:
