which slave to buy

morning. I have a Rover 75 which uses the same diesel engine as a Freelander.
The clutch slave cylinder may have given up and I was wondering what slave Freelander owners would recommend for a Freelander as I may be able to use the same slave.

Td4? I fitted an AP clutch and slave kit which has so far done 30k miles with no problems.

sorry guineafowl21 no idea about model I think the engine is MR47?
have you a part number or link to the slave as I'm struggling to fink one

I suspect the slave (concentric) is different between the R75 and Freelander. The gearboxes aren't the same, so it's unlikely that the concentric is shared between gearboxes.

Nodge68, sorry to take so long to reply. Not been able to access the forum.
This is the slave being suggested on a Rover forum https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LUK-Conc...lander&hash=item2388f86b5a:g:5YUAAOSwqVBZZoHF but it is also said I'd need to modify the pipe work and bleed the slave

the person suggesting the slave is a very clever bloke. Just wondering what Freelander owners suggest as the best slave.

If that's what the Rover forum guys say is a good one, then go with that. I tend use Borg and Beck or LUK concentrics if I need one. But any OE concentric will do the trick.
