A diagnostic has shown my MAF to be faulty but there are too many to choose from
is there any make in particular to go for and how much should I be paying?
Is the MAF Paddock sells any good?
Id be grateful if someone can shed some light for me
Thanks

By either a Bosch or genuine.

Ebay cheapies are a waste of money.

There is a Bosch number on the body of the sensor part, but the whole assembly I believe is a different part number.

Thought my MAF was faulty but after plugging in Hawkeye turned out there was no power getting to it as there is a common wiring fault. I ran a new wire from the fusebox and all working fine now.

Which wire did you alter? and where from the fusebox?

when read mine came up saying low signal from mass air flow

I was doing some welding with the guys at a Landrover shop today so got them to price up a OEM maf while I was there - £140:eek:
Think Ill price up a Bosch

There are 3 wires that connect to the MAF, one is earth, one is 12v from fusebox and one sends 0-5v signal to ECU. Check you are getting 12v before getting new MAF
