Hi Newbie from Canada! here looking for info on buying a 15 yr old Defender 90 soft top to import to Canada in 2014 while visiting Scotland!
Hi all, Another newbie, i'm from E.Yorks, this is my first Land Rover (discovery 2000) & i must say that i'm bloody loving it.
Introduce urself would be good first, where are you?Good day people,
People, cud someone assist here. My machine is giving me hard time. It's a Disc, Td5 and it has M & S lights flashing on the dashboard. The engine kicks but the car cannot take off. Thus it does not engage gears, except the 'R' which is also pulling so heavily. Could you please advice on what I can do.
Hi I live in rotherham I'm looking at buying a discovery 3 in the next week what do I need to look out for? Also can anyone tell me if there is any truth in the messages people put up about discos as in are they as unreliable and costly to run as they say its a choice between a disco and land cruiser but I prefer everything about the disco?:lalala::mooning:
O'right Mr Nathan,
Mr Basebi, Living in Gaborone, Botswana. I'm driving the Td5 Machine and of recent it started giving the problem I said on my initial message. The local dealers are suspecting that it had cooked up the gearbox and are suggesting that I replace it, but I doubt that's the only solution to the problem. What it does is after the engine kicks the M & S lights appears and when I engage 'D' or any gear '1,2,3' the red spot lights also flash next to the gear lever. Please, advice accordingly.
