Where do you get your landy M.O.T'd?

M.O.T time next month for my Siii i got last month. do people use special landy friendly garages?what should i look for and tinker with to avoid fail?only advisory last m.o.t was slight play in steering linkage,think thats what it said. do the useual landy leaks affect m.o.t?

In answer to your first question

Yes. Find a garage that understands Land Rovers

Also if you give folk a rough idea whereabouts you are they maybe able to recommend one close to you ;)

Google M.O.T. inspection. I'm pretty sure I've got a copy somewhere if you cant find it p.m. me and I'll see if I can send you a copy

What might not be on there as it's new this year a leaking steering box is a fail.

Don't despair though Google Lucas leak stop ;) :D
 
I have been going to the same rual garage for over 30 years...they understand Landrovers...I have heard the have got a new tester now so its fingers crossed for my next visit,

I'm in North Cheshire.
