They look like the exhaust clamps used to hang the intermediate or tailpipe sections.

No there not exhaust clamps. I think they are off the tub or sides/roof somewhere. They were removed to be galvanized when I had all the cappings etc done. They look like they were rivited on.

It's ok I've sussed it.
Looked back at some old pics when I stripped it and they support the roof where the strengthening bar is.

I would never have guessed that was what they were for. Good job you had some pictures or that could have been a real head scratcher.

Mine was a wild guess but interesting that's what they are cos I'm contemplating doing a switch to a tilt.
