I made up a pair of boxes that fit under the 2nd row seats. Can fit loads of stuff in them and they are easy to get at.
Just resurrecting an old thread here,
I found today under the rear seats, two small webbing straps, which are clearly for securing the jack.
I put the rest of the tools in a cardboard box under the rear seats. The jack when in position stops the cardboard box from moving.

In my 90 i have spanner's and stuff under the passenger seat and the jack is jammed in the back behind the rear bulkhead with a piece of wood along with my strong arm, wheel socket and two small blocks of wood which act as chocks for the wheels and jack
