I'm kind of the opinion not to touch the Rangie apart from standard maintenance in case I upset her and she throws a wobbly. However, a casual conversation with a mechanic supplied the "fact" that the 2.5 diesel water-pump fail "regular as clockwork at 120k miles". Seeing as mine is coming up to 120k miles, would it be worth replacing it as preventative maintenance?
Temperature absolutely fine and steady when driving. And, of course, I have no idea if it might have been done by a previous owner!
