Hi
I know this is an age old question but I have yet to find a definate answer. What are the tallest and widest wheel/tyre combo I can get on a standard (2000) 110 Hardtop without any alterations?
Cheers in advance,

these are 285's on a +2" lift

What's that in UK language? Some seem to suggest 285.75r16 and some don't????

FFS..........noobs :doh:

37x14.50x15

Most large tyres are measured in inches as in 37" dia x 14.5" wide on a 15" rim and they won't fit without a bucket load of mods.

Standard LWB tyres are 31.64" dia (7.50/16's or wider 265/75/16's)

285/75's are 32.83" dia and 11.22" wide. I imagine the dia is fine but they're getting wide so you'd need deep dish rims which push the tyre out further so I'm guessing you'd need extended arches......

You know what....why am I looking this stuff up for you? I got my own tyres problems. You've got internet so do a :search:

Depends on the wheels you fit them to. Wheels with a nice big offset will preserve your steering lock, but will stick further out.

Forgot to mention this. If you keep your original wheels then you should be fine.

Langers - are your new tyres 315's? what wheels with what offset do you have.

how many times has this been asked?????????????????????????????
its on the forum,with just a bit of searching and heypresto.

Yes very true.

I dont know whats up with me today ive given a sensible reply to another thread on guages in the fender section aswell! :doh:

Yep, 315/75/R16 (35/12.50/16 in old money).

They're on 16" diameter 10" wide black modulars, which give tonnes of offset. With the original arches fitted they stuck out by three inches

But I've now fitted extended arches which just about cover them :D

No arches;

+2 extra wide arches;

Like your Landy Langers. How do you rate the Hankooks? I'm thinking about getting them but not that big:eek:

Well so far they are excellent, much quieter than I expected (barely louder than my original 31" all terrains), and are pretty grippy on tarmac even in the wet.

Haven't had a chance to use them off road yet but am going up to Buildwas pay and play on Sunday with the Harper 4x4 club, so that should give them a good test :D

Sorry to all who are frustrated by the tyre/wheel thing again. I just need a yes or no answer to the question. With standard suspension, will 285.75.16 Kumho KL71's on 16x8 modular rims fit onto my 110 hardtop?
Lovin the 315 BTW. Just a bit on the big side for me!

Yes, but you will probably need to adjust lockstops in order to prevent the tyres rubbing, and you may find they protrude from the arches slightly.
