Back to this ol' chestnut again...

While my Landy is under the loving care and attention of the garage who's sorting out my voltage regulator, I felt the need to go shopping. :D

I've bought some new (old) steel wheels and due to being dead lazy have just had them shot blasted to save me old elbows from all that sanding. Bottom line is they're going to get a new coat of olive drab paint (the wheels that is, not my elbows)

What I'd like to know from anyone in the know, is should I paint the inside of the rim too or will this upset the rubber on the new tyres when I get them? They're currently all naked and new looking :p

Ta muchly!!

Prime at least, to much condensation within a blown up tyre on a rim, could lead to even more rusting problems further down the line.

Soz for late reply, had to go to work an' all...
I paid £15 per wheel all in for the shotblasting. He said they could have been up to £25 each if they had powder coating on, but they didn't, just rust and flaky old military stuff.
A bargain in my opinion when I think of how much work it saved!!!

What's Nitromors Clivees? Not heard of that before...?

phil, i will blast em for yer once i have got my compressor up and running, fer a small donation, obviously ;)

That'd be great yella!
Let me know when, where and how much matey;)
